I agree, the whole situation is pretty dissappointing, but I choose to believe that as the song continues to get airplay on TV and exposure on Spotify, YouTube and FB, another BETTER opportunity will arise with the sole focus on Haley singing the song live with no other distraction....

Have faith - all things in do time (I am a Cubs fan so I am patient and in it for the long haul) . She is doing really good now. Better to have her not sing than be a background singer no one sees or knows, again my opinion.

I would have really loved to hear Haley sing on DWTS but I'm not as disappointed as most. It seemed to me it would have been extremely unusual for them to use a guess performer in a competition dance. It usually only happen on pros or group dances. Don't know if its placement on the show helped but CHFIL has jumped about 80 places on iTunes, now #121 after being #198 on Saturday (I think).

Yeah--it's good exposure--but ITA--lots of other stuff coming her way. It's not like it's back in the day when there were shows like Ed Sullivan. If u were on a show like that it could propel you to stardom. There were 3 channels and 2/3 of the country was watching. Now it's all so fragmented. It's a whole different thing.

It is disappointing for sure--but I know better opportunities are around the corner.

DWTS should give the song a bit of publicity. Neither ABC/DWTS or Haley ever mentioned she would be performing the song.

It sure would be nice to see her sing it somewhere (besides Room 5).

It was at #147 10 hours ago (according to Mjsbigblog), then #131 directly after the dance, now its at #88 !!!

That's impressive as I was monitoring Twitter and didn't see much of a reaction to the song. Most just talked about the baby or praised the performance. There wasn't much of a response on FB either from what I can tell.
