I remember that interview - thx for reminder. Funny how things have changed in four years - I think she has found her groove and pop is not it IMHO. No matter what I love her passion and style and will always be a fan  .

I guess there's multiple threads this can go. Surfing the internet for Haley 'stuff' I might use in my next project*, I came across this....
This is a graph of global listeners of Haley's songs on lastfm.com ... as much as we think "Undone" is possibly the most popular song from "Listen Up!", apparently, it's "Free"... at least on last.fm sept 3- nov 15
*(I've been considering 'revamping' "Haley's Journey", Redoing it but ommiting "American Idol" from the title, hopefully better to avoid Fremantle, re editing it, improving audio, and also adding the "Listen Up!" release party at the Hard Rock and ending it w/ the Lollapalooza Concert video.... so Approximately 5 hour long movie, in 2-2 1/2 hr videos. A big undertaking )

The problem is, but it's a good problem, I'm thinking of adding more....
I'd like to include videos/audio of her thoughts at the time too... so would be more than 5 hours :/
It'd also kind of be cool to include some video from the Idol tour too
My original idea was to re-work "Haley's Journey" since Fremantle blocked part 2, which is a shame w/ all the new Haley fans coming from CHFIL . I want to break them up in chapters differently than the 3 parter I had, avoid making it look the same as what got blocked
The original 3 part "Jouney" was actually kind of a pain. It was such a big file, my PC processors could barely handle the size, it was hard to view the video, running smoothly because the PC would lock up and lag. So in "The Journey", I saw several places that needed correcting. Redoing the project, renaming it "Haley's Journey" gives me an opportunity to fix the issues as well as 'tell a story'.
I already have alot of the Lollapalooza video done, so to further make it different, I figured I could put the Lolla concert at the end. So from Idol to Listen Up! to Lollapalooza 
Hopefully what I've learned about my software since then, will make it a less arduos project

That would be totally awesome to have!
And a lot of work ... but it would be great as you describe it, performances and some audio and interview excerpts edited together.
I'd consider going for a mini series with no segment longer than 15 or maybe 20 minutes. It also allows you to go in chunks. It would end up being a 20-part series - why not! People can work through them two a day or whatever works - less painful than jumping back into a long video and fun to follow. You could even make it an event, one video out each week (sound familiar?), or one every 2 weeks ... we'd all follow and relive and discuss each step of the journey here ...
Just thoughts!

My reasoning is to make the idol part "Inside" the project. I'm trying tactics to avoid Fremantle. Doing what you suggest would mean several episodes of just Idol stuff...which defeats the purpose.
As it is, the first part will be mostly idol, anyway. Making it an "event" also defeats the purpose
That's a reason I'm considering two long videos.
Also, I plan to have links in the description, so you don't have to view it in one sitting. You can just click a link to where you left off
It's possible I just make it one 5 hr movie with links to the chapters, really keeping Idol inside the movie
