RE: Haley in "F IS FOR FAMILY"
Just finished FIFF binging. I was hoping Haley would do a good job - but she didn't, she did a GREAT JOB! Made us forget Little Bill was Haley. She absolutely nailed it, just like a veteran voiceover artist. She should be able to get a lot more jobs like this to keep her career going while she pursues her singing goals.
I was a little concerned that Haley is not included in the opening credits for each episode. But, not giving away any spoiler info, Haley's name is prominent at the top of the closing credits for the last episode.
Way to go Haley!

RE: Haley in "F IS FOR FAMILY"
As much as I'd have loved Haley to be in the opening credits ( I reviewed it 2 or 3 times, thought I'd missed it ), I'm not surprised that when I saw she didn't make the opening credit cut.
They're trying to get at least a second season (more episodes per season? 10?) It makes sense to post your biggest names 'starring' at the beginning, name recognition, drawing powers.... and even as prominent a character as Sam Rockwell's is, he doesn't have that many lines in the six episodes, yet he might be the biggest name from their roster, so of course you have him prominently placed
(As far as credits go, if you're not posted 1st, you want to be posted 'last' of the stars "and Sam Rockwell")
I expect Haley's name will make the opening credits in season 2, as by then, I'm sure she would have gained more prominence from the activity she's already got lined up for 2016. I suspect she and Ole will surprise us w/ other unexpected projects too (like CHFIL was a surprise)
You'd think the many years she's worked on TV and comedy, you'd be surprised to learn that Mo Collins is still trying to get a "Verified account" marker on her Twitter....not a big deal, but kind of insulting to an entertainment vet like herself :/

RE: Haley in "F IS FOR FAMILY"
Excerpts from a new interview with Bill Burr:
Quote:How did you work through the scripts? Did you do table reads with your voice cast?
One of the writers would write an initial script, we would do three or four passes to punch it up, and then we would do a table read with as many of the voice actors were able to come in and do it so we could hear where the laughs were and what needed to be fixed. Once we got all of that down, we would go into the studio and record.
Quote:Did you know while you were making the show that it was going to be distributed by Netflix, or did that come afterward?
That came afterward. While we were making it, we thought it wind up somewhere like Adult Swim. We didn’t really fit in with their lineup, and Netflix was Vince Vaughn’s idea.
Quote:The show has a family-in-a-neighborhood setup that’s similar to King of the Hill. Is that one of the shows you looked to for how to structure a family story?
No, I hadn’t actually seen much of that show. One thing that isn’t in the early episodes much is Frank’s job and the people who work there, and there’s also a story with a radio station. There are also kids in school, and we use television for a lot of social commentary on that period.
Quote:The early episodes are centered around the older kid.
Kevin, the older kid, is more likely to take on Frank — more rebellious. Bill is at that purgatory age where he’s beginning to see his dad as a human being and not a perfect person.
Quote:Do you have specific ideas for another season, or would you more come into the writers’ room and see where it goes?
We’ve already had meetings about what a second season would be about. When you go to sell a show, the networks are not buying a show unless you have a five-season arc. You have to show them that the series has legs. You can’t get six episodes into it and do the same thing over and over again. The networks really want to see how the characters’ lives are going to move forward.
