Doesn't Haley's gig on April 7th conflict with a possible appearance on the Idol finale on that same night?

Yes, if Haley goes back on Idol it would probably be on April 5, 2 days before the final.

The retrospective “American Idol: American Dream” is set for Tuesday, April 5 from 8 to 9:30 p.m. ET/PT. It will feature host Ryan Seacrest, current and former judges, former Idols and contestants and the behind-the-scenees team sharing their personal “Idol” memories, as they reflect on what the show has meant to them and how it became such a groundbreaking series.

Haley's just made a flight from Europe then shows on the East coast w/o one notion of Jet Lag... I think she could handle a California/Denver flight

I'm thinking these are busy days for her w/ the Album coming out soon and radio tour, but if she decided to do it, make an appearance, hang out w/ friends, maybe meet Idols she's never met before, it is a big event in a show that gave her her boost... It's unlikely she will be there, but Haley is nothing if she isn't empathic, her passions a motivator, I could see a scenario where Haley would decide she'd like to be there

Also, I remember when Steve broke the news that she was recording for an Idol performance back when she mentored, that she'd also likely be on the show the first week of April.

All of the above sounds good and doable (for Haley to make it to Denver). The Billboard article was written so that it seemed like all of the former idols were on the very last show. Never sounded plausible to me. Would love to see Haley on Idol again, but to be honest, she got her limelight earlier in the season. What I fear is one last 'slight' by Idol, but i expect that Haley is 'over it', even if some of her fans aren't.

Overall, I think that Idol treated her right giving her the mentor/singing gig on a show during this last season, along with a chance to sing her current single. Think of the dozens of people they could have asked to do that from their 15 years. But they know she is a fan favorite for sure, and as noted, treated her with proper respect. And Haley has always been gracious to Idol about her time on the show as well--smart girl!

Anyway, if she shows up on the last show, on the stage or in the audience, that is just gravy.... AND, whatever you think of American Idol as it signs off in a few weeks, you can thank them for one thing---introducing us to Haley....

Look for Haley in the Idol Audience Wednesday night, but her Denver gig does interfere with the Thursday finale which she was asked to be a part of.
