Unfortunately I won't be able to go to the June 14 Chicago concert. Being the venue is on the north side of the city it would be very hard for me to get there because I am not comfortable driving to unfamiliar neighborhoods (especially that far of a distance), and it would be dangerous to take a train + walking in the city + ride a bus late at night. Unless my dad is willing to drive, but it would not be very likely to happen.

Yes I am disappointed, but it is ok because I will be seeing Haley and her family and all of the Haliens 2 days in a row next month so it is not that bad.

The first show (Mystic Theatre in Petaluma, http://www.mystictheatre.com/) is exactly 30 miles from my house. YES!!!!! So excited. Unless she sets a tour date before 6/3, I'll get to see the very first Better Haley Reinhart concert.

Hey JMT... I might see you there. I think I might head up to Petaluma instead of down to San Francisco. I've seen shows there a long time a go and it's got a good feeling.

Can't buy the ticket until tomorrow haha.. and hope I'll be in town to use it!


... of course I could go to both Petaluma and SF ... if SF doesn't sell out I'll go to show support. (I imagine Petaluma will be a tougher place to get a full house that's another reason I'll choose it first)

I'm curious too about the band.. I hope she'll have a full enough group to include a drummer... if it's just her a keyboard/guitar player and a drummer would be fine (I'd even take a guy keeping time on a snare before the bass) But she knows what works for her and it will be interesting to see!

Oh my! American Idol season 10 standout Haley Reinhart is headed to a city near you very, very soon. Her upcoming solo headlining tour, in support of her forthcoming Better studio album, will see the singer-songwriter criss-crossing the country and hitting up many of the country’s best, most intimate venues. The tour launches June 3 with a show at the Mystic Theatre in Petaluma, Calif.

Better follows 2012′s groovy Listen Up! and arrives in April, via Ole and Red Dot. Popdust spoke with Reinhart earlier this month about the new project. “I ended up taking the original production and getting a live band, including my dad on guitar. I had them cut it and I fused the two sounds together. [The album] has a more epic, cinematic sound.”...

I really hate the ticketing systems these days for the 'common' fan, how could it be already sold out of we haven't even heard of it anywhere?

It looks like those extra tickets are now sold out. I wonder if teamhaley or their consulting resources are testing the waters at some sites to see how tickets sales go at certain price points. The Gramercy Theater is only $20 more than the general admission ticket, other places are more $$.

Could be they have more venues arranged but want to find a sweet spot for ticket prices.
