Haley Reinhart is kind of on fire right now......she's got a new album coming April 29th called "Better". She's also hitting the road for a fairly extensive tour, including a stop here at the Varsity Theater on June 13th.

All this, is to the credit of her amazing cover of the classic "Can't Help Falling In Love". It's not JUST that song, but it's certainly been a huge springboard for her nationally. Did you know it, kind of, all started with a Wrigley Extra gum commercial? Check it, yo:

Team Haley has released the single "Better" for streaming on the Teen Vogue web site, with a nice article about the story of the song. One thing Haley notes about the CD release is "I'm so ready to get these songs out there..."I've had to keep many of them a secret for what feels like an eternity!" So, perhaps there are songs on the CD that NO ONE has heard, not even the most diehard Haliens??? And maybe pic below is an indication of album art?

That Photo was taken on her recent trip to sing with PMJ in the UK...Better's album art will probably stem from her photo shoot with Casey Curry (all the recent shots promoting Better are from that shoot....theme: plant life and the four seasons)

Girls rock. You know that, we know that, everyone knows that. And no one exemplifies that mantra better than Haley Reinhart, the 25-year-old singer-songwriter who made a splash when she came in third on American Idol's 10th season.

Now she's back with another album, Better, out April 29. But you won't have to wait that long to hear her powerful vocals, because Teen Vogue is premiering the title track today.

It's a jam that fuses all of the best elements of good, old-fashioned rock song — that guitar! the piano! — with Haley's wonderfully raspy voice. "It's all about taking a stand and doing what's right for you," Haley says of the message behind the song. "No one should ever just settle in this life or undergo any sort of torment when they can live free. Sometimes everyone, including myself, needs a reminder of the power they possess over their destiny."

"It's important to me that everyone knows their worth," she added about the breakup song with a twist. "The truth is, if we love and respect ourselves, then we project that same kind of love to those around us. There's always time to make a change in our lives and I hope that women will feel confident, beautiful, united, and reassured when they hear this song."

I would just change the headline.
