To be honest, I wish she would have went with a different lead single - "Better" the song for me isn't a hit. Of her new song's I have heard, "LIWFF" or "Listen" are stronger. Either way, I obviously bought the album and and am hoping for success!

I absolutely agree with this, and I've always maintained that for me, Better is the weakest of her new songs.

This album has an unusual history. Starting out as an EP, then CHFIL comes along, and at some point the decision is made to go for the LP. The primary recording sessions for the EP were in February 2015, I believe, but I don't think Good or Bad was even written at that point. The photoshoot was also done while things were still in the EP phase, as was the Better video.

With CHFIL already a charting single for the album it might have been nice to let the next single rise up based on interest from listeners, but with the video and all, it seems the song Better was selected long ago and maybe they were boxed in a bit. I find the song hard to judge at this point because I have heard it so many times over the past three years, but I don't think it will prove to be the most popular on the album.

Here it is folks... Haley Reinhart's brand new album BETTER is ready for pre order!!!! This whole record is filled with so much love and passion from so many of our friends. I won't forget the day Haley and I wrote a little 'big' song in her apartment in LA called 'Love is worth fighting for'. This song means a great deal to us and there is no one else in this world I would rather hear sing this other than the woman herself. I also co wrote a super fun song called 'Check Please'. Get the album.. You will not regret it!!!! Love you Haley! So beyond proud and in awe of you. Xxxx

Despite my stoic face in this pic, I'm so proud that Haley Reinhart has an album coming out this month AND her first solo US tour in June! Go to her website to get tix rt now, because it won't too be long before she's playing big arenas. Another Postmodern Jukebox family success!
P.s. That cup is full of apple juice. It's her favorite drink.

I don't think it will prove to be the most popular on the album.

Haley's collaborators seem excited, so I think the album is going to have a lot of goodies.

It might be Haley's team thinks "Better" is the most radio friendly option -- possibly because they believe the track is the one most likely to appeal to the young women who appear to drive record sales today. Or it could be Haley appreciates the elements it incorporates from a musician's POV.

Several writers have tweeted and they seem excited that the album is coming out. I take that as a good sign.
