Haliens for PAVE

We've been contacted by one of the reps for the Empowerment Summit charity in Chicago, to see if Haliens would like to contribute to their cause by raising funds as a donation. There is an incentive, a Meet and Greet with Haley to the team that raises the most funds.

As many of the Haliens will be coming in from out of town, myself included, at some cost for travel, we understand that trying to compete for the meet and greet would put undue pressure on Haliens going to the show to contribute especially if a bidding war starts .... Never the less, even if we weren't interested in competing for the prize, some of us felt like we should contribute something to their cause, as we do represent Haley... There is no pressure to donate, donate what you want, or don't donate, we just want to put it out there.

Scroll down to the list of teams, click "Haliens for Pave". On the next page, select the orange "Donate" sign. The next page you can chose how much you want to donate by clicking a button or typing in the amount

***Also the site charges a fee (around 11%) to donate

This crowdrise entity peels off 11% of the money. What do we get in return for that tithe? Are they a mechanism that PAVE is using?

I know, it's disappointing, but it's the system they chose to use...

like I said, only donate if you want to, no pressure, just wanted to at least put it out there that we were asked to contribute and thought we could at least post about it for anyone that would like to contribute as well

As for education and support, PAVE is holding a benefit concert starring Wheeling's Haley Reinhart on April 30 at Durty Nellie's in Palatine to raise money for PAVE and Erin's Law that work to prevent sexual assault and help survivors heal.

I got in on the last day...thanks Babbs! So looking forward to Shindig V this coming weekend. Halien Headquarters will be jacked up on 220 volts...too much fun for one weekend!
