I believe things happen for a reason! Like all married couples in this world me and my hubby was hav ing a bad day yesterday, and this morning wasnt any better, he took off work to go take me to breakfast and for us to talk about some things, well, this song came on, out of the blue! This isnt a very popular song, but this is the song that my stepdad walked me down the aisle to give me away to the man I was gonna spend the rest of my life with, as my eyes filled with tears, the look on his face was pretty much priceless. All our issues were gone, in a blink of an eye! We went back to our wedding day, and our vows came back to us. Them vows mean the world to us, and no matter what, we will ALWAYS be here for each other

Macy and I were listening to Pandora this morning while we were getting ready and this song came on. She told me that when she gets married that she wanted this to be her wedding song. It brought tears to my eyes to think that my daughter is old enough to think about things like getting married. The song is beautiful and Haley does a fabulous rendition.

Wise man said, only cool songs live on. But, I can’t help falling in love, with this song again and again.

OK, it was me who said that. What can I say? I am wise and I am a man. But, I’m also not a fool when it comes to knowing a great song.

“Can’t Help Falling In Love” is one of those rare songs that transcends time. It manages to reappear every once in while and become a major hit all over again. Thus is the case with Haley Reinhart, whose version of the classic ballad is currently tearing up Billboard’s Hot 100 while reviving interest in the song for a new generation of music lovers.

....is it truly meant for a guy to sing? I almost would have said yes, until Reinhart came along. You might remember her from season 10 of “American Idol,” when she finished third. Persistence has paid off, big-time. She can rightfully say a woman can have a hit with “Can’t Help Falling In Love,” too!
