Thank you Tusk so much for sharing your story of your experience at the Troubadour and your videos with us. It sounds like you and your niece had quite the night! Im sure it was a night she will remember for a long time! That traffic in LA sounds worse than in Chicago!
I remember when I brought my niece to see Haley perform at the Alyce Paris fashion show in Chicago a while back. We were able to go back stage (in the VIP area) and got to sit in the "press box" as I remember, to see the show (with Himm and Penny). It was very cool. And when I brought my son with me to see Haley with Irvin Mayfield and NOJO last November in NO, we got to see Haley after the show, and left out the "stage door" with all the musicians plus joined Haley and company with Irvin at his club for the "after party". My son was on cloud nine. And he really enjoyed Miguel and Tusk's company too! It is very satisfying to have some family members see what makes us so happy in our halien life.

I don't know how much Haley 'inspired' her, but being her first live show, and she got to go on the floor, it will definitely be one she will remember. I also liked that we talked most of the time we were on the road

Thanks ! All your vids have exceptional audio to them! I didn't know Haley could dance like that! :O I'll be a little said if my cake isn't on the EP. I feel like you can't have better without my cake because we were introduced to them around the same time.

You have no idea, been frigging working on Cake's audio for 4+ hours. Just like cooking, if you're tasting your food repeatedly, you eventually lose your base and you can't trust your taste buds any longer....that's what working with Cake's audio was :/

I can't tell what it is, but there's buzzing and Haley's voice gets swallowed by the venue and ambiant noise. There was already a crackling and buzz but I tried to pull Haley's voice out while trying to keep the noise to a minimum...

Eventually I couldn't tell if what I was hearing was in my sound card (my computer audio card doesn't play well with the video editing software), or the ear buds or what? So I tried whatever effects I could think of to reduce the buzz....

I ended up having to completely whipe out the settings and start over using the audio template I saved for "Better". Eventually I got to where there was still a buzz, but it wasn't as pronounced. Having spent too much time on it, i figured Eff it and uploaded (I'd uploaded 3 other versions w/ failed sounds).

It turns out, I think Uploading the video, Youtube might have compressed the audio somewhat, basically 'blurring' the sharpness of the audio, so the buzzing and crackling wasn't as pronounced
