Regarding the concert at Club at Stage AE, she and the band gave a terrific show and it is really amazing seeing her live-- like you are in the presence of greatness.
I was disappointed with the crowd, with the Club about half full, but really there was very little promotion for her show. If you did not follow Haley or Stage AE on Twitter or Facebook, you would not have not known about it. There were no mentions in the newspaper-- in the Weekender section on the Thursday before the Saturday show in the largest local paper, the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, not one mention of Haley's show. Also, Stage AE did not promote her appearance in their local City Paper advertising. And, finally, CHFIL has never received radio airplay in Pittsburgh, so no promotion there either.
So perhaps a smaller crowd than should have been, but the people that were there were very enthusiastic to see Haley live in da Burgh. And they saw a memorable show... Thank you for the response! Sounds like a good set list. I didn't expect a Pittsburgh sellout so the smaller crowd doesn't bother me. Still wish I could've been there though, but I'm grateful for the comments about it and of course the videos.
I still need to get "Better"!  Out of the new songs I would've been most excited to hear "Behave". Really love the sound of that song based on the snippets alone. I love soulful Haley. 
Hope to hear "Now That You're Here" live someday. That's my favorite "Listen Up!" song. If a singer does a cover of it in the future they should really mash it up with Kris Allen's "Better With You". They kinda go hand in hand it's pretty cool. OT But their lyrics almost flow into the others "Stay by my side, cause baby it's always better with you." "Now that you're here, there's no one else for me." Sorry if that's off topic, but I just love those lyrics, and both those songs.
Yeah. The low Pittsburgh promo doesn't surprise me. Kris didn't have anything in the paper to my knowledge for his most recent show, but Scotty did when he played Stage AE a few years back. Now Scotty's coming to the Palace in Greensburg, PA. I've seen small signs for him along the road. As much as I disdain most country music I believe in the greatness that was AI10. So in my book most folks (Not all, but most.) from that season would put on a great show. Glad to hear that Haley did a solid tour, and continues to be a great live performer. Gotta see her live again someday.

Even if the collaboration with J Lutrell was a temporary thing, I think that she'll be hard pressed to ever find a band that understands "ListenUp!" sound much better than they did.
I might have linked that one before.. I've got it on my phone and listen to it all the time now ... I think that's what I've always hoped for in Wasted Tears. Sets the mood for Haley to style the song with little "bells" of sound to top runs.
Haley's got a lot of sounds PMJ captures some of her facets of her diamond and I'm sure there will be other groups that are bluesier than Luttrell that bring out others.
