Watched it so many times. That's why I said "almost as good", Creep is the best song they've arranged so far.

This is good, and very well done, but Haley is on another level entirely. Not only that but Creep is her best song as well.

I actually understand the Creep comparison. She did a fabulous job, and it's a similar type cover (slow jazzy cover of a famous rock song in black and white..)

It's certainly one of PMJ's best.

Definitely has a Haley influence in her singing. Not a bad person to borrow from it you can pull it off. At 15 Caroline is pretty amazing.

Steve Whipple - Bass - Cincinnati

Steve Whipple is a versatile yet original acoustic/electric bassist, composer, and arranger. As a bassist, his focus is on jazz and improvised music, but also plays rock, funk, and in jam bands.

A native of Tokyo, Japan, Steve Whipple moved to Michigan in 1999 to attend Interlochen Arts Academy, where he studied music composition. In 2005, he graduated Summa Cum Laude as salutatorian, with Distinguished Honors from the University of Cincinnati, College Conservatory of Music with a Bachelor’s degree in jazz and studio music. He quickly became one of the first call bassists in the area, performing extensively with many of the local greats....

Reggie Watkins - Trombone - Pittsburgh

Born in 1971 in Wheeling, WV, Reggie Watkins played trumpet and tuba in high school before switching to valve trombone, then eventually slide trombone. It was as a music major at West Virginia University that he was first exposed to the playing of ’bone legend J.J. Johnson.

In Pittsburgh, Watkins was influenced by Roger Humphries, the local legend known for playing with Horace Silver on such classic albums as "Song for My Father." Watkins became involved in various bands and gained a reputation for his strong, groove-minded playing.

In 1999, Watkins became Maynard Ferguson’s trombonist, music director, and arranger. He is featured as a trombonist and arranger on "Swingin’ for Schuur," the 2001 album the trumpeter made with singer Diane Schuur. The next year, Watkins recorded his first album, "A-List," which was part of the Maynard Ferguson Presents series. The recording featured his compositions and arrangements. "One for Miles, One for Maynard," his second date as a leader, was released in 2014....
