RE: New Haley Walmart commercial?

Let's hope so. It's absolutely beautiful. Love how she transitions for a bit into what is normally the main part of the song. Once it begins airing more, perhaps people will try to identify the singer?

I got a good feeling from your comment Tusk. Interscope thought they'd throw a few radio performances to try to promote "Listen Up" instead of any visual gigs for Haley. It didn't work and then they gave up. Glad she's now in control of her pathways to outstanding success instead of depending on a profits-oriented promoter. And I think everything she's doing now is a lot of fun for her, which is just as important as financial rewards, maybe more. We Haliens have latched on to someone really special, that will always make us happy.
I agree. It is easy to forget that a few years ago (to me) Haley was on the edge of obscurity--not signed to a label, she seemed to be lost or struggling to decide what was her next best step---the low point (to me) was doing that festival or whatever that was in South Carolina with that stoner band.
Then Post Modern Jukebox happened, then "Can't Help Falling Love" went viral, then "Better" went from EP to CD, two tours for "Better", signing with Concord Records, a THIRD album out in a few months that looks amazing and another high profile commercial gig.
And as noted--- today, Haley seems to be in control, doing what she wants. What I like most too is that Haley is building a career for the long term. Sure, she is not on the radio or having mega hit songs/CDs (at least not yet), but she is building a career like a Norah Jones, Shawn Colvin, KT Tunstall, Suzanne Vega, etc--Singer-songwriters with loyal fans, many recordings and solid careers. I bet she has a jazz CD in her, maybe a bluesy country CD, maybe a 70s tribute, …etc. She also seems very well grounded, from a good family, with good instincts and smarts. I think Haley is going to be around for a long time, exploring different genres and sounds…and we are all along for the ride.

RE: New Haley Walmart commercial?
I half believe the 'dead' period following being dropped by Interscope might have partly been because Haley had unfinished issues that needed attending as far as any advances from the label she might owe. As I understand it, when an artist is signed, they are sometimes given advances to conduct some portion of their business. An advance isn't a payment, it's more a loan which the label recoups as you make money for them from sales, touring and merchandise.
Obviously, Haley never had the chance to recoup as they didn't really invest in promoting Haley or Listen Up!....
I thought this was interesting.... I clicked the 'Vevo' link from Haley's home page, it took me to Vevo's site which had the following blurb in Haley's write up....
Quote: She finished third, earning a contract with Interscope Records in the process. In 2012, Reinhart released her debut album, Listen Up!, featuring the single "Free." Heavy promotion of her debut followed through 2013 and 2014, during which time Reinhart took her show overseas

RE: New Haley Walmart commercial?
Haley's extended version is garnering up views fast. The walmart commercial released 2 weeks prior doesn't even have half the amount of views Haley's vid does. I imagine she recorded a full version and it was being pitched and passed around by Ole a la CHFIL and SMYM. Who knows maybe there are other covers/jingles she has recorded? If popularity of the vid and interest grows perhaps walmart might take notice and release the song and do a campaign like Wrigley did. But like some mentioned this wasn't ad specific as there are many commercials. Also someone from walmart has been commenting on the YouTube vid.
