RE: "CREEP" - PMJ studio version with HALEY

Given he features a different one each week, the simplest thing to do administratively would be to just pay them a flat fee up front in exchange for whatever rights they might have. If he was paying royalties of some sort he would have to keep track of views, etc. For perpetuity. Though I suppose there could be a clause that if a work was used by a third party they would share the compensation.
Good points. It's hard to imagine, however, that a cable network would air an Ad spot using a song from performer who protested the use of her work-- even if the rights solely belonged to another. I doubt they-- Scott, Haley (and Dina)-- even went there. If they had what you outlined, Miguel, and it makes sense that's the kind of agreement Scott draws up, then I'll bet something special was written up for this. It's just awesome how many revenue streams Haley is starting to accumulate!

RE: "CREEP" - PMJ studio version with HALEY
I think we all feel protective of Haley, but our journey with her has shown that she's tough and can roll with anything negative that comes at her and come back stronger.
"Creep" makes sense for the imagery of the advertisement, and in the end, Haley is in the entertainment 'business'.... that means take the opportunities that come to you, which Haley has been great with, prepared to take advantage of.
In the end, this is extremely minor, and happens in the lives of many young people, it won't define Haley and she will move on.
There are worst things to be in trouble, consider the recent charges leveled against her Damiani fellow singer Landau jr.... he has a much tougher hill to climb.
