I shouldn't try to guess what the surprise might be but it might have something to do with her PMJ performance tonight in Chicago, a new track release, or announcement of a new project.

So is 'The Letter' going to be released as a single tomorrow? She says next single, but doesn't specify when. I saw it was on iTunes (not USA).

I hope if and when it is released that she ends up on that Spotify Friday new music playlist; she will take off. Songs on that list have good exposure and are guaranteed at least 100,000 views within the week it's on the list. The most obscure and unknown songs/artists on that list still reach about 100,000 views. The list has over 2 million followers. If her people at Concord have pull they should get her on the list. Baby It's You sits at 37,000 streams and it wasn't on Spotify's new music playlist. With Haley's name and following I don't see why she wouldn't be on it.

Couple of observations:

A) The opening to the video for The Letter says "recording sesssions." That suggests we'll get more of such videos. If they released one every Thursday until the album release date that would be 12 songs in all if we include Baby It's You.

B) Both Baby It's You and The Letter were released on a Thursday around the middle of the month. So if they keep to that schedule we should expect the next video -- if there is one -- on August 17th.

Should there be a more elaborate video in the mix, I would guess that to be related to "For What's It's Worth." It would make sense to make that the last video released before the full album. Probably on August 17th or September 21st.

If "Light my Fire" is a bonus track, that means they could release a recording session video each week featuring a classic song on the album.
