Lots of crowd noise but the video turned out well. This is a great performance by Haley, she really put herself into the song. As for PMJ opening for that other group is like the time Hendrix was opening for the Monkees.

They even had people crossing in front of cameras in the back also. The production audio was a bit weak and the crowd that was only half-interested in PMJ meant that when Haley gave her cute little F-word fake embarrassment the crowd hardly reacted possible because they couldn't hear it.

OK, I didn't really wanna make this public but here is my version:


It looks like she kept the music flowing perfectly even though she couldn't detach the mic from the stand when she wanted to and she had to unplug her digital "ears" from the back of her dress in the middle of the song. What a PRO!

@pmjofficial kicked off their US Summer tour in Chicago with a visit from home town girl @haleyreinhart to sing a few tunes with them. Haley sang #AllAboutThatBass #Creep and for the first time, #haleyreinhart performed the #Soundgarden cover live with #PMJ since @scottbradlee rolled it out a year ago.

Guess I was frustrated that I had to shoot that thru a 3 inch wide by 6 inch high gap between the two lovers heads sitting directly in front of me and all the foot traffic that kept passing back & forth and no other seat to move to. I'll keep it unlisted. Thanks for the comment Tusk, I'm just being more selective of what I deem post-worthy these days. This short clip of AATB will remain unlisted also, especially since it's not a unique/new song and it ain't that great.

Well, IMO it's as obstructed as Ken's Black Hole Sun, there was one point a guy stood in the scene for a while, and the video appears to be getting good response. My go to is I can handle 'not great' video, if the audio is good. If it's vice versa, Good video and Poor audio, then I might have to think harder whether I should post it or not.

That's where having multiple sources comes in handy, you can bring out the best in two audios, One her voice the other the bassier sounds, then combine them for a fuller sound. Something I did w/ the Idyllwild and BGDays 2016 videos

People seems to like Ken's Black Hole Sun... It was tough for me to work on the audio, there was just something 'not right' about it.... I asked Barb her opinion, she said it could be that the sound system was poor at the venue....

As I said, good audio is the deciding factor and yours is pretty good. Your choice to keep it unlisted, but I would post it if Ken sent it to me

If you can use the partial audio from my trunicated BHS you're welcome to it. I got frustrated when a guy stood up and blocked it completely so I stopped recording plus my arm got bumped in my narrow seat midstream. I'm not up for uploading the raw file to Dropbox however. If the audio direct from the youtube of this (minus my Captain Dinken Rebel Yell) at Ariana's intro, it's yours... "For What It's Worth"

Part of the problem last night was PMJ was advertised as coming on at 9 pm instead of 7:30 and many people were coming in late. The background noise is not good so I wouldn't bother trying to snag it.
