RE: Haley Reinhart's funky a$$ reality project
I have to admit that I was getting a bit concerned that there's been nary a peep about the year anniversary of SMYM. I know that it didn't perform as well as it could or should have (don't forget the Youtube count doesn't account for the views that debuting it at Yahoo garnered, Haley estimated it to be over 200K), but I thought if you put your entire effort into it, did it with all your heart, gained valuable experience through the process, then ultimately it was a good experience IMO. I was worried that maybe Haley wanted to put it behind her. It just didn't seem like Haley to have regret for anything she tried her best at.
Thankfully, Haley came out after a little over a week of Social Media silence (her Chicago friends were in town), spent over half an hour and replied/retweeted including several tweets about SMYM
Then Casey tweeted, Instagrammed this morning re: SMYM

RE: Haley Reinhart's funky a$$ reality project
It feels like the shadows are more finessed, objects have more depth, dimension and he seems to have filtered the colours to give them a 'something' that makes it look better....
It was posted 3 months ago, looks to be a portfolio piece so it's likely he tweeked it more than the original. I remember meeting him, nice guy, had a huge camera slung over his shoulder.
I was thinking it's possible that Vimeo, being a subscription service, probably has better processing for uploaded content. Alot of creators prefer Vimeo for it's quality and content control that you don't have on Youtube

Yup, he definitely worked on his promo piece...it's very slight but you can see he brought up the reds and blues, there's slightly better resolution in the shadows
You can see the colours are slightly richer
