2. They brought their biggest guns. This version of PMJ took the stage as a seven-piece with a rotating cast of vocalists—among them Aubrey Logan, Sarah Niemietz, LaVance Colley, Dani Armstrong, Casey Abrams, Maiya Sykes, Hailey Reinhart and Ariana Savalas, who also performed host duties. Any one of them could have headlined the show and sent the audience home satisfied. The amount of talent gathered in one room was absolutely staggering.

5. It was a wonderful night of do-overs. The television taping meant that some songs needed to be performed more than once to get them right for the cameras, most notably Reinhart’s torch-song version of “Black Hole Sun” (“But it won’t have the same pizzazz!” she faux-protested) and the raucous, all-hands-on-deck version of “Stacy’s Mom” that closed out the show. Every time, the PBS crew asked the audience to applaud PMJ like we were discovering them for the first time—and every time we applauded, we meant it.

Apparently not a 'mini vacation' perhaps a private party as they are in the British Virgin Islands (the next 4 days), closer to the US than Europe. Casey snapchatted very picturesque beach and Island images ("I might be in heaven"), ending on a pic of a stage surrounded by tropical vegetation with a comment "Tonight's Gig"

A tweet by the Tap Factor also refers to the "gig."

The screen cap is of Haley saying she was in New York to sing at a private event and her management sent her a specially made bag.... as I posted. The subsequent photo w/ Scott and Ariana made it clear that the event included Scott and it was sort of a PMJ performance... That it was only Scott and Haley justified my statement about 'bringing the big guns' as it appears Haley was requested specifically to sing Creep.... unclear if they performed anything else.

Doing a manual back up of my PC files and found my video from the House of Blues San Diego show in 2015 which I thought were 'train wrecks' because of the poor recording of my smart phone at the time. So checking some of the video out, this one didn't have the abrupt audio drops and overt distortion of some of the other video so I tried to see if I could salvage it

One of the few levels I had to lower the volume on Haley as that was where some slight distortion was, but, yeah, talk about a nice surprise

#OnThisDate 3 years ago, I traveled to the UK to see @haleyreinhart @caseybassy perform with @pmjofficial, my first #PMJ show. I also got to meet @scottbradlee @morganajames @arianasavalas & @grahna for the first time.

I had always said Haley was the type of vocalist that the Brits ?? would love ala Winehouse, Adele, Joss Stone & Norah Jones. So I made a promise to myself IF Haley had a chance to perform in Britain, I would try to make that show. Haley joining @pmjofficial became that opportunity .

In addition to being excited to see Haley perform in the UK (with pal @caseybassy) , #Haliens had seen a video weeks before of #haleyreinhart covering #Radiohead’s Creep in Lyon, France. I could not wait to hear That Live . Mind you, this was before PMJ released their, now over 45 million view, video of Creep with Haley. As you might’ve guessed, it was a stunning performance .

What made the biggest impression on me was how incredibly silent it was during the performance, Haley had the audience’s complete attention. Being that this was a couple weeks before PMJ posted Creep, it is one of the few performance where no one was whooping or hollering when Haley sings, “you’re so fncking special...” The audience was completely silent.
(I did hear some gasps )

Additionally my video of that performance marked the beginning of a major boost for my channel. In the 2-1/2 years before, my channel only had 801,014 total views. The following 3 years after this show, my channel has gained 11,517,350 views of 12,315,991 Lifetime .
