PJ correctly guessed Haley would join Shoshana singing, "With a Little Help From my Friends" a song on Shosahna's album w/ Grace Potter. Scott, Blake and John Notto were at the show....

I just noticed that Shoshana Bean opened this week on Broadway as replacement lead "Jenna" in Waitress. Shoshana, a PMJ alum, starred a few years ago in Wicked, also on Broadway. Waitress was the same show where we saw Haley in the audience at the Pantages in LA watching the national tour company. After seeing Waitress in Las Vegas, I thought Haley could do a great job with the music as the lead in this show. Anyway this made me remember the performance above at Shoshana's album release party, a little over a year ago, where Haley blew them away in "With a Little Help From My Friends."
So, if Shoshana can reach this level, why not Haley?
There are so many talented performers "working in the shadows" in the industry, just waiting for a breakthrough moment. Never know when it can happen. For example, I never heard of Joanna Connor until yesterday, when YouTube took me to a backyard barbecue. Evidently she's been playing for decades, but most people had never heard of her until one video went viral. If you like the blues, check her out. She's amazing.
