Irvin, I have watched each of your video collaborations with Haley since she sang "God Bless the Child" with you in your club. All are special but I think this song is the best. The song, the vocals and the message are perfect for the times. I bought this album based on this song and the whole album is fantastic. You and Kermit and Haley and all your collaborators deserve a Grammy for this album.

I saw this comment on the "Beautiful World" music video just now. And it got me thinking that this album could definitely be an "in" for Haley into the minds Grammy voters. I could see it being nominated in several Jazz categories, and I think that could be a huge thing for her.

Buyers of this record must reflect a different demographic (i.e. older) than other stuff I have looked at on these charts since the songs on the record have done *nothing* on Spotify (to speak of) despite being a beautiful song with vocals by Haley, the title track hasn't done much on YT. Of course, one can move up on the jazz charts with modest sales.

Leaving Everly’s service that Tuesday, we carefully place flowers and plants in the car. We put the urn in her car seat and buckled our little girl in for the very last time. My phone is automatically hooked up to my car and somehow it connected to my music instead of the usual Serius Xm radio. A song came on that I’d never heard before. I listened to the lyrics and burst into tears. It was my sweet girl giving me reassurance...sharing her love with me. It happened again today and I remembered that moment after her funeral. I knew she was once again reaching out to me. Give it a listen. I hope it brings your heart some love and peace from sweet Everly James.

Well unfortunately Irvin's 'troubles' also include people who have made it their mission to spread that info about him to anyone they can. I think Irvin has been keeping a low profile for now, he no longer owns/runs the Jazz club in NOLA. I think he's been touring here and there but w/ minimal press.

On Twitter, I remember there was one account that would respond to tweets that promoted Irvin in any way, linking to articles about his situation.

It's bad timing, I feel bad for the guy, I don't think he's a bad person. I think every human has their good and bad side, sometimes the bad side wins and you have to pay a price.

Basin Street Records is still affiliated w/ Irvin and was a main distribution source for this album. They still promote it, but for obvious reasons, it won't get the exposure the album deserves
