(So much for a rock-leaning HR4. She does her own thing - time fusion.)
Perfect song for Women's Day (here in the city of Berlin an official public holiday for the first time.)
To be fair, the other songs we've heard that might be on LFS do lean towards more blues/rock feel. HTTD is definitely an outlier in that case (unless they decide to add "Last Kiss Goodbye" to LFS, which has more in common w/ HTTD than the other songs)
TBH I was a bit worried how fans would react to HTTD as it's so different from the other songs purported to be on the next album. Since I heard all four songs released to college radio, I have been saying HTTD was probably my favorite after DKHTLY, but again, I was worried that it would receive similar 'backlash' as LKG got from some fans that it was too light and airy and not 'Haley' enough.
I waited and recorded every song I heard on college radio because I knew that I would have to listen to them multiple times to make up my mind about them (It took me a bit to finally love "Let's Start" for instance). Although I usually get a rush from hearing new Haley songs/covers (I'm biased

) the thing that stood out for me wasn't necessarily what I heard, it was how I felt. Of the three 'new' songs, LFS, Shook & HTTD, it was HTTD that gave me that body high for at least the first five times I heard it. It made me want to put on my headphones, sit back, close my eyes, relax and let the song wash over my body
