"Listen Up!" song previews now on iTunes!

The one that's getting me this morning is "Let's Run Away." It's like a day at the beach! And I get that Oh My! won't be everyone's favorite, but it's growing in my head like a weed. It's so unique, very James Bond.

Where was the Buzz? Oh, I was sleeping when all this went down. Catching up this morning...this is "so cool" as Haley would say. I have to cleanse my music palate before listening...it's ready now after 3 cups of coffee.

I told AC a while back that I wouldn't listen to snippets......I want the whole song(s) as a first listen experience! It's gonna be hard to do but at least I only have 2 more weeks to wait. Sure glad I paid for the 2nd day air shipping but I may have to buy it on Itunes as well so I don't have to wait that extra 2 days! Pretty sure I have an autographed copy coming and I could never imagine selling that on ebay.

If you ever go to Sam's Club or Costco, they offer little samples of food products they sell. Suppliers hope that if you only have a small taste of their product you will be more likely to want to buy the "whole enchilada". I try the samples, wondering what the food item really tastes like. It works for me and it works for the seller.

Now that I have sampled more of Listen Up, I am totally excited about the whole album. She has stayed true to her style and I think she has produced a great first album. I can understand not wanting to hear only snippets, but for me hearing the previews causes me to want the album even more. Hopefully, these previews will entice casual or new fans to want the "whole enchilada" too.

OMG BUZZZZZZZZZZZZ LMFAOOO!!!!! now let me tell you why.....you know those people at Costco that prepare those samples and hand em out........I am one of those people! I have worked for Club Demonstration Services for about 4 1/2 years now. I love what I do and I agree about the sampling and why it works (many of my Costco purchases have been based on those samples). However, since I am already excited to hear all of Haleys album and deep down inside I know I will LOVE IT, I want to "experience" the whole thing in one sitting! Kinda like a big ol' lobster tail and filet mignon, I know I love em, but I would be unhappy with just a little taste. I want to be able to savor it and totally enjoy the experience. I do agree it will hopefully bring new people into "Haleyworld" but for me it is a choice I made many long months ago and as tempting as it is I will wait another 2 weeks......and dammit......now you got me hungry for enchiladas.....THANKS BUZZ


BB that's hilarious! It reminds me of the "Oh, Brother Where Art Thou" line, where Delmar says to Everett (George Clooney), "Care for some gopher Everett?" (holding out some fire-roasted gopher on a stick). Everett replies, "No thank you, Delmar. One third of a gopher would only arouse my appetite without bedding it down."

You want the "whole gopher"...no problem...we'll have that on a stick for you in less than two weeks.
