A phenomenon is happening here for the first time. They tried to pick the best songs for her debut album but had a hard time and could not agree. They immediately resorted to Haleyfans.com but saw the same indecision on which was best. Still they had to pick and pick they did. Now they are seeing they are all great.

The phenomenon is that the artist, Haley Reinhart, makes almost anything special. They are unsure what to do so they are putting out some more, possibly arriving at the conclusion they could do a second album of the remaining songs and still have a success.

Just throwing it out there....maybe some of the bonus songs, like "Spiderweb" really take traction, which makes Interscope decide to officially release it along with a few other 'new' songs on an EP or something. They have to have some kind of strategy if one of the bonus songs "catch fire", don't they?

"Follow Me" is another that might make some waves with the backmasking homage to the Beatles...it would tap that market of Beatles' fans.

When I heard that the Deluxe Version of Listen Up! included bonus tracks, I assumed they wouldn't match the quality of the rest of the album. However, I was surprised to find that they are some of my favorite songs! It seems that the bonus tracks are not inferior songs that didn't make the standard version, but rather, more experimental departures from the vibe of the rest of the album. As for these two new tracks, I think I'm in love. This girl can do no wrong in my eyes. From what I've heard, "Soul On Fire" is downright single-worthy, and "Follow My Heart" features some of Haley's prettiest vocals ever. If this is the caliber of songs that didn't make the album, I can't even imagine what other gems are festering in obscurity on the cutting room floor...
