It sounds like someone has been talking to somebody. And they might be open to letting her mix it up on her first album.

I don't know how this works when they're negotiating. Does a new artist say I want to record these songs I've written, and the studio says we want to pair you with these writers, or are such details not discussed until the artist actually signs?
