Creep is about to move in to the number four position on the PMJ most viewed list at 8,290,000 views. It doesn't seem that long ago that 'Thrift Shop', a 2 year old video, had a lead of over 1 million views. The top 5 videos aren't standing still either. They're continuing to pile on views at a >10000 a day pace. I expect Creep will pass 10 million views by Halloween.

Given that it's collecting 34-35K views per day, I expect Creep to pass ten million by the end of September. While views tend to gradually decrease for PMJ videos, the release of SNA will drive the Creep numbers up for a while (it picked up around 40K in the past 24 hours). There is a big gap between the top three videos and Creep -- more than 4 million.

Just listened to this version: superb. her voice is amazing, & I've not heard of her until now! A little forced perhaps on the high notes, but that's a very minor criticism. 9.5 out of 10 from me. Thanks for posting.

That's a good point. "Creep" stands on its own, but Haley is enjoying the benefit of being in heavy rotation for PMJ. I noticed this tweet yesterday:

Wow! Great rendition of Creep, with amazing vocals from Haley Reinhart. Not only is she extremely talented, she sounds like no one else in the music biz today. She should be selling 20 million records a year!

This has been one of those songs that should never be remade because the original is so good. I stand corrected, when you listen to this version you have to say DAMN... this is F@#%ing perfect. GREAT JOB!!!!

This is preposterously, biblically good.

Most of the time I listen to PMJ for the novelty of hearing modern pop songs as classic vestiges. But this cover might actually be a better version than the original. I love Radiohead but this version is astounding. You can hear the lust in her voice, the pain of not wanting to be a stalker, the point of no return, and then the climactic ending orchestration is just the cherry on the top of the sundae that is Hayley Reinhart's vocal range and expression. 4:09 is a musical moment that take this cover to realms of stardom. Love it. I could listen to this version all day.

This is a wicked cover! I loved the runs she did while singing, "She runs." Would have loved to hear her use her full range and power at the end as well. I am totally inspired!

Hey Scott, I keep an eye on you and PMJ... I have to say that this is amazing! Man alive! My favorite part is 2:45 on. Especially where Haley starts scatting at 3:07 and then at 3:35 and the "I said it..." that was brilliant... Very solid playing for everyone and Haley did a great job. This is fun no doubt. Oops I forgot about the key change at 4:07 Nice. For those of us that love the older styles and to take modern and turn back the clock is great. I have to say that I like the original too. We enjoy your take.

I just had it going in the background... noddin my head... then that KEY CHANGE and Haley reached into my chest and twisted my heart around 360 degrees and I started involuntarily crying. And I hadn't even been paying attention. What is this sorcery?!
