Back from Northern MN and very excited to see all the Tusk vids and catch up on all the Haley action over the past week (on a bigger screen). Once again, thanks Tusk for taking one for the team, HaleyFansDOTcom, and foregoing the individual satisfaction of the moment for a more long-term approach...we all are able to share in this experience.
I watched the Haley Scoop video and read the comments below that vid on YouTube. There were many comments that the live version was not as good as the studio version...or the band needed more practice. We've become accustomed to Haley being able to "change it up" on her live versions, and for many, create an improved version. After my first two listens (you know I'm 'all in' for Haley...so don't throw Buzz to the sharks) I think this live version was a little off. Maybe the sound quality got 'lost in translation'?
Knowing this is the first time they all played Spiderweb live together, including family, we have to cut a little slack for the whole size and scope of the Lolla project. It will only get better the more times they perform it. It is shocking to think, I know, that Haley could be a 'little' off in a performance...
