I have funny story to share. I was one of the lucky ones to win tickets to see Haley at Akoo Studios in Rosemont, IL where she recorded a video and had a meet and greet with, on May 25th. 10 of us won tickets to see her.
On Thursday, Aug 2nd, I was at an Eddie Bauer outlet store buying a shoulder bag to use for my excursion to Lollapalooza. At the checkout counter, I started talking with an employee there, and mentioned where I was going, and he asked me what band I wanted to see. When I mentioned Haley Reinhart, he kind of laughed, got out his phone and showed me a picture of him and Haley. I knew the picture was from Akoo as soon as I saw it. I told him I was there too and remembered he was there with his brother, which he confirmed. He said he was a big fan of hers and wished me a good time seeing her.
Friday, Aug 3rd, while at Lollapalooza, I was right up front in the first row waiting for Haley's band to get set up.I started talking with people around me. I asked the girl next to me if she was a big Haley fan. She said yes and that she had even won tickets to go see her. When she said it was at Akoo, I couldn't believe it. I dont know if she remembered me, but we both had a good laugh about it. She even showed me her phone that Haley had signed that day.What are the chances of meeting 2 of the 10 "winners" in a big city like Chicago?? and within 24 hours?
