Like Tom, I'm a big fan of business/commerce. I introduce topics about the label's decision making and possible courses of action not to be negative but because they interest me. I'm learning as I go and the music industry is too as technology has changed everything.
I continue to believe Haley will ultimately be very successful and have no doubt she will make a good living as a performer for as long as she wishes.

I've got to say I'm really curious to learn more about how the industry works too. I'm sort of curious about everything in the world from String theory, to genetic research , to fashion trends I learn about on project runway.
Following a budding artists career -is- an excellent way to learn more about the business.
Tom, your an interesting guy... following fashion trends on project runway hehe

( I mean that in a good way) I love doing that too. and learning about music business by following a budding artist. It's fun!
I think its made us all learn to be very patient. its definitely an eye opener. From how the singles are timed to be released, to how music companies promote their artists, to how they pay them. I do think there is still a lot of interest in Haley. Just look at all the paparazzi around her at events. It was really cool at lollapalooza to see all these photographers with their long lenses suddenly appear to take pictures at the beginning of her set!
