From my previous post (#11): “And don't get me wrong MAE, I never said that I thought Cyrus should still be in it.”
From my previous post (#12): “He had already made the tour and that was as far as I was hoping to see him go, for now.”

Agreed, and it isn’t his fault that he keeps getting such high praises from Nigel, Mary and the guest judges (most of which I agree with, but that isn't to say I think he should have made it past top 10). Here a short clip of the judges’ comments from this week:

In Eliana's dance, there's a move (around the 1:15 - 1:17 point), where she's in -- well, I'm not certain if a standing split is considered an arabesque -- but whatever it is, she's fully extended on demi pointe, and then leaps unto her partner's shoulder. OMG -- where does the strength for that come from? It's an astonishing transition and executed to absolute perfection! It must have been so nice for Eliana to have someone like Alex to partner with. I just hope that her technical perfection doesn't/didn't go over the heads of those who vote.
Arabesque? Well, not classical, but I’d say yes, an arabesque with a cup of heavy contemporary tilt, delicious!.

And yes, I so agree with your descriptions, “astonishing” and “perfection”. And wow, that leap! Her right-ankle/foot action in that move reminded me of how Hank Aaron hit homeruns using primarily the speed and action of his wrists/hands.
Eliana has amazing strength, that’s for sure. Check out these two routines:

Actually, I've liked him all along and have felt that how good he is has been underrated, perhaps, because he makes his dancing seem so effortless, perhaps because his "personality" as Nigel had to throw out, but I suspect part of it is because he looks so young, it seems as though he's not taking the things seriously (I know that may sound stupid but I suspect that was part of what Nigel meant). But he's shown some serious dance skills (particularly in the second week of the live shows) as well and I certainly hope he makes it through to the next round!
Will passed Chehon as my favorite this week. In addition to being an awesome dancer, and one who actually connects with the audience (which is not Chehon’s forte), Will is also my kind of guy.
