Since I've never seen the show I don't know anything about the relationship between the two characters in that scene. But I was wondering if something else was intended. The content of the lyrics that were playing when he dissed her music choice was sexual -- "Every time you touch me right it's like oh oh oh oh my..." Then she checks out his lame presets and tells him "we've got to get you with the program because you are a virile young man. We need to get you set up here.... " He picks her up because he likes the company and the sparkling conversation ... she laughs and puts the song back on. I mean is this guy not able to take a hint or something? Maybe a little foreshadowing -- she did want a ride home at the end....
