RE: Who will be Lady Gaga's opening act?
Hell yes 'little pony' may well open for Lady Gaga and deserves to. The two of them would have a ball and represent one hell of a show. (I am sure the staging would be nothing like we see at local preview performances)
I listen to Listen Up! very often, having a long commute, and do not think I have missed any performance that has hit the internet, like many others here.
Her album is extremely strong from start to finish. If you are like me, your favorites change a bit over time. At least, I like to hear others that maybe I have not played as often some times.
Take your least favorite song on the album and listen closely and critically. There are no errors, no autotune, cool lyrics, many embellishments of melisma, and all are appropriate. Her backup vocals are musically precise, yet still reflect the musical coolness of her primary vocal. She plays with the songs to attach hooks even between the main song hooks. She can change-up and break-down a song more than any singer I have ever witnessed. Her dynamic range is beautiful. She uses difference voice modes, tones, strengths, growl and range. The way she sings at the razor's edge of her voice "breaking" just melts me. She can transform from soft to strong, change notes, trill, growl and yodel effortlessly. Flawlessly. Truly Haley has worked hard on this album and it is something truly sensational and special and rare.
I know this in my heart and from all info I can collect and ponder upon.
I feel certain that professional musicians are winking at each other about Haley, and her commercial recognition will come.
I remember a post from months back that said Haley is so good, pair her up with a major artist and its all over, she will be a star. We are heading that way, Haliens. Enjoy the ride.
