Elise is another artist with fantastic (and unique) runs. I agree though Tusk, I never really connected with her on Idol.

I saw her on youtube, expected her to be one of my favorites possibly ever. LOVED her voice. And I just wasn't her biggest fan. (She ran about fifth, behind Dre, Jessica, Hollie..okay..maybe tied with Skylar). I'm sure part of it was the comparison's to Haley...and she's just not anywhere close...but I did like her. (In fact, in terms of singers I liked on idol last season, it was essentially everyone but Heejun, Phillip, and Colton...and I've warmed up a lot on Phillip. And I like Heejun and Colton's personalities.)

I'd love to see Haley have a band like that. But I just think Interscope really missed the boat on her. They had, on their hands, the sex kitten version of Adele..who is fully capable of changing up her style when the music industry calls for it (when Rock comes back in style, she can do that..she could do a little bit of jazz infusion..funk..etc...) similar to Kelly Clarkson. I just don't get why they didn't promote her.
