How the galleries work:

- One giant category called Galleries (menu on main page)

- Individual galleries found under that, which can be named

- Individual galleries can also be tagged

Here's the thing. The tags appear at the top of the page. So having them be different years (2011, 2012, 2013...) makes sense because it looks orderly.

If other tags that are more specific are included the top of the page will become cluttered.

If you click on a tag, it filters what is displayed so you only see the galleries that have that tag. So if we only used years as tags, you could only filter results by year.

The category name suggestions would become the names of different galleries found under the years. Since there is no tag for the category, you wouldn't be able to filter out all results except for the galleries related to that subject. If there was, you could click on that tag and see the similar galleries across all the years.

Hmm... thinking aloud... the tags are sorted in alphabetical order. So if we used years and other subjects, the years will appear first so some sense of order will be maintained.

I think that may be the way to go.
