Whitney Houston Dead at 48

I'm sure myself and a lot of other people don't want to draw to conclusion, but I do suspect that drugs had a role in the dismissal of this beautiful woman's life.

I worry about Haley possibly turning to drugs by falling in with the wrong crowd or perhaps to blow off the negative pressures/feelings that can accompany stardom. I feel better knowing that as she gets her start she's around people who can credibly warn her of the dangers of that path. I know she already knows them, but in the back of her mind there is also the knowledge that many respected musicians have been drug users.

No illegal drugs have been found in the hotel room where Whitney Houston died -- at least not yet -- but prescription drugs were present, and it's possible the singer drowned in the bathtub ... TMZ has learned.

Sources tell us ... when EMTs arrived Whitney's body was already removed from the bathtub so it will take an autopsy to determine if she OD'd, drowned or died from some other cause.

Informed sources tell us ... Beverly Hills cops -- who were still searching the room at the time this story was posted -- found various pill bottles. There was no evidence that Whitney was drinking alcohol in the room.
