Hey...at the 2:30 mark of the above video is Michelle, blonde lady to Haley's left with the sunglasses on top of her head. When she arrived at the party she came to the backyard by herself alongside the garage where the karaoke was set-up. Four of us Halien guys were standing there and I shouted out to her, "I know you...I saw you on Idol". I'm sure her first thought was, wow, what have I gotten myself into here.
Michelle, high school classmate of Patti's (they claim the class of '92
), was in the crowd on Top 6 results night of Season 10 Idol. The night Casey went home. The night Jimmy Iovine said Haley didn't know who she was as a singer. The night Haley slipped in a comment about Jimmy's critique that was bleeped out on TV
Anyway, when Haley walks to center stage to be critiqued on the previous night's performance, the camera goes to the audience and shows Michelle and Patti sitting next to each other. Michelle raises her right arm (somewhat like THF video position) and shouts, "Come on Haley"...and Patti looks at Michelle with the biggest, warmest smile she could give. I think I won the Trivia contest with that one...Yanni was impressed. However, I think Michelle called for security after that.
