I make it a point to not watch slasher-type movies, and I'd have to drive 40 minutes each way to see this one, so I will pass. In my area, it's showing at a theater that has 30 screens ("with dine-in theatres"). 30 screens is a lot of real estate to fill so that's likely why they're showing it.
I tweeted a reviewer a few days ago looking for confirmation the song was in the movie but they never replied.
New York Times review:
Quote:“Nurse 3D” isn’t nearly as fun as a movie about a homicidal, sex-obsessed, clothing-averse health care provider ought to be.
...the script by Douglas Aarniokoski (who also directed) and David Loughery doesn’t have any of the wit that a film like this needs to give it campy coolness. On change.org, someone has started a petition asking Lionsgate to pull the film from distribution because of its depiction of the nursing profession. That’s one argument. Another is that it’s just not a very good movie.

Shock 'Til You Drop review:
Quote:I’m just going to give it to you straight about Nurse 3D. There’s no point attempting to deliver a complex criticism of this lurid Single White Female-esque thriller because it’s not a very complex film. It’s a movie for the “bad movie” enthusiasts. Those purveyors of sleaze and bloodshed. Those very special people out there with very special tastes that embrace “the awful” and know how to have a little bit of fun. Someone like me, for instance. I had an absolutely great time relishing Nurse 3D’s unapologetic attitude and execution. Others out there? I can see why you won’t like it.
...My oh my, is Nurse 3D ludicrous. There are some "facepalm"-worthy one-liners and Abby’s actions go from 0 to 11 in a bonkers final act.
