The Idol Tour hits Detroit on Sunday and a reporter interviewed Haley on the phone a week ago for this article. Not much new. She admits once she made it to her goal of #3 she wanted to go further. And don't expect too many growls.
Quote:"Once you're on that stage and you're next to the other two, all of you have that instinct to want (to go to the finals)," she says. "But at the same time, I got what I wanted."
Artists she admires include Corinne Bailey Rae and Janelle Monae, and she hopes to emulate their sounds as she goes forward in her own career. But she doesn't plan on relying on her old moves too heavily along the way.
"I don't want to be growling every two seconds," Reinhart says. "I probably wouldn't last too long if I did that."

In other news, The Minnesota Tribune gave Haley's stage act a bad review:
Quote:Did anyone disappoint? Vocal powerhouse Haley Reinhart, who finished third, came across like a jazzy, campy Kathy Lee Gifford singing on a cruise ship, and runner-up Alaina showed potent pipes but no personality in her singing or stage presence.
