That got me to thinking about what would it take, if the venue could request an artist, or would the artist need to be the 'prime mover' to appear at the venue? So I tweeted Jazz Alley, in Seattle, along with video representing Haley....

To me, this appears to be a general 'submission request'.... but then I thought about it again. What is an "EPK"? A quick search revealed that it stands for "Electronic Press Kit"

So... does this mean, then, that they think I'm one of Haley's reps? I think I made it fairly clear that my tweets were a "fan making a request" type of tweet.... But them telling me to send an EPK seems to imply that they think that I'm speaking as one of Haley's management trying to set up a show at their venue, which, of course, I have no control over....
It's most likely they think it's Haley wanting to perform there as opposed to a fan asking if they can get Haley to perform there....
Or am I misinterpreting things? Is it worth pursuing, to put together an EPK of/for Haley as a sort of representation of Haley, in the hopes of them inviting her? Because if it's them thinking I want to set up a show there for Haley, (which I don't control), it would be a waste of time 
I suspect you are correct that they interpreted your interest as part of her management team as opposed to a fan's interest in getting her booked, particularly in sending links to some of the Youtube. But you might forward that info on to Haley or her dad or, or, or .....
