I bet Rachel's got editing software she can add your name to your video, if not you can send it to me and I can do it too.
If you have a PC, you might have Window's generic movie editing software installed, Windows Live Movie Maker:
Once the program is open, you can see an area that says, "click here to browse for videos and photos. Click and navigate to the file you want to edit. Once open, you will see a preview window on the left, and a 'track' of your movie where you will edit it on the right
on the top tool bar, click the 'home' tab. On the right of the home, 3 buttons over, there is a 'film strip icon'(snapshot), directly to the right of that icon, you will see 3 buttons, stacked vertically, where you can add text: Title, Caption or credits.
I'd chose caption. Click that and you see it adds a text area to your video, at the bottom. click inside that to add your text. (notice on the right, a 'text track' is added to indicate how long the text will show on your video. You can grab the end of the track to adjust length of time the text is to appear)
You can get fancy and do some animation to bring in your text. To the right of the 3 stacked text buttons are what look like frames, hover over them, you see that they are different ways to 'animate' your text onto the video, chose one style by clicking on it. For what you want to do, I might skip this part, and just do a regular caption text, fade in fade out...
"Control Z" undoes what you've done, if you don't like what you chose. If you want to change the font, just above that area, you can see a tab marked, "Text tools/format". Click that and you see there are more options to format your text including font, size and color.
Once you've formated your text, for the length of time you want, click the icon in the upper left, to "Save as"... make sure you save as a different name as to not over write your original video, in case you're not satisfied with what you made
