...On Saturday, Glover was extra nervous because she was trying something new with her set. Instead of singing slow, soulful songs in front of a mike stand, Glover was planning an upbeat, choreographed show with dance moves that she and her backup singers had been practicing nonstop for days.

"I want fans to feel like they're coming to my party, not my show," she said. She wanted to move away from "mike-stand Candice" and show the audience a younger, more fun, more laid-back singer.

"I hope that everyone accepts it, because this is who I really am," she said.
