Hi all, sorry for the delay. Once the show was over, I hightailed it home in hopes of getting a few winks of shut eye before heading into work. As you know, I connected with Tusk before the show started. LauraLiz, I hope that Tusk did the "message conveying" for you, since I didn't see your message until after I'd gotten home.
What can I say? The venue was great, the dinner wonderful and the show (the Casey, Taylor, Jacob part of it) was excellent. (I would have preferred not to hear the opener for the show. However, he was reasonably short -- about a half hour, although about 29 minutes and 50 seconds longer than I wanted to listen to.

)
The Casey show was fast paced, fun, and well performed. Tusk already mentioned that each of them played multiple instruments. I wish Casey would have played piano a couple more times. He's really good on that as well. After the show, I asked Jacob what else he's planning to learn and he said drums and guitar.
Quote:Anyway, the show was worth every dollar, and then some. The banter was hilarious, they went around the crowd, even asked for volunteers that played the clarinet (because Jacob had a sax so couldn't play bot) It turns out, a guest DID know how to play, so Casey got them to join in on the song while they were in the crowd.
Before the show I noticed Jacob walking around and then talking to some folks close to the front on my left. Then later that guest is playing a really mean clarinet solo, so I figured that Jacob's earlier foray had been to make arrangements, tell him the plan, etc.
I'm so glad that I went. So much fun! And the 3 of them seemed to like Seattle and want to come back. Let's hear for a return gig!
