(kkong wasn't questioning Haley, of course, but what Geier adds. In the end, it's different preferences. Art is complex and so are its effects.)
I had no issue w/ what kkong posted, well thought out opinion (not necessarily criticism) is always welcome
Freddie Mercury and Queen GREAT example. Think about Bohemian Rhapsody let that sink in for a moment, just how different that song is to any song you'd heard before it was issued...it is now Iconic, perhaps the most well known and sung to of all of Queen's great music...
(*fun fact, this video for BR was on TV, "Top of the Pops", when we heard that Elvis had passed away, the day before we would be leaving the UK for the US. An Indelible memory
)
Bringing it back to PMJ, Queen is an oft requested group for Scott's medley at PMJ shows, complete with the audience singing along....
seriously, think about how absolutely "out of the box" and brave they were to roll that epic song out.... Operatic flourishes in a Rock song?
Fantastic example XAtlantic
Haley's musical soulmate is often seen w/ a Queen T-shirt and is a big fan...

@HaleysTusk Prophet's song is the shit!
The Prophet song, another Iconic, but lesser known of Queen's "Out of the Box" musical genius from a 'must own' Queen Album, A Night at the Opera
