My second favorite tune on
Tales from the GingerBread House is (for the moment)
Caught. The chorus to this song is such a great hook.
(Thanks to HaleySlays for the Barbeque Jones video at Room 5)
The song is rocking, and the lyrics are likely to stir up some memories being compelled to "steal a glimpse"

. If fact, even though this song predates the CHFIL commercial, doesn't it perfectly capture the first vignette?
I just want to climb into this song -- singalong, dance, dust off the old sax, whatever. But I can't compete with Jacob and the crew, nobody wants to see me dance, and I couldn't find the lyrics.
So here's my take on the lyrics. I'm sure it needs help, especially the "criminal" line.
Verse 1
You've got the longest legs I've ever seen
Those pretty eyes keep catchin the light
The way you lick your lips is hypnotizing
I swear I could watch you all night
And I feel like a thief trying to steal a glimpse
So lock me up and throw away the keys
If it's a crime for wanting those hips
And it seems to me, I'm in love undeniably
And I'm diggin what you've got
And these goods I'm staring at are hot
Chorus
You caught me lookin at you
Well I caught you lookin at me
We're [heavy?] like criminals
Well I guess that we're both guilty
Cause I see what you're thinkin
Know what you're hidin
Why don't you hand it over
Cause I'm lookin at you
And you're lookin at me
Verse 2
You can be the best thing that I ever score
Beats the day I was twelve stole a tootsie roll
And I feel like this time
I get a life sentence for this crime
And it seems to me, I'm in love undeniably
And I'm diggin what you've got
And these goods I'm staring at are hot
