Wonderland

Wow “Wonderland” sounds like a carbon copy latter 60's or early 70's Motown/rhythm and blues song to me. Talk about being literally retro, the word retro to describe this song is almost an understatement. It also accentuates Haley's very beautiful voice and amazing singing ability in very positive and sensual ways. I wish I could crank up the volume more because I really want to hear more. In fact, I can't get enough of it, as it leaves me wanting more, and it has a kind of very nice vibe to it, the kind I'd like to listen to while cruising in my truck with the volume cranked up high. (I was going to say car, but I haven't owned a car since in the mid 80s). Indeed, this song is almost hypnotic, as it makes me want to hear it over and over again.

Anyway, I hope a younger audience can catch on to this new Haley retro vibe, as it is not what I would have ever expected coming from her, but I like it a lot nonetheless. In any event, if “Wonderland” takes off, watch out because it could potentially become a very big song for Haley, and that's what Interscope is probably hanging its hat on.
