I still need to listen to "Better" in full to make a proper decision, but the first song that popped out to me was "Behave". I really like the sound of it.
And...I just listened to it on full on YouTube. Wow. Definitely a sexy song. Some of those lyrics I wouldn't normally expect from her. I was hoping for "Now That You're Here" Part 2 and I think I got it.
Could've done without the weird voice deepening filter at the end though...I get that it was used for effect, but it didn't add to the song.
OT Question. For those like me who still need to buy the album...What songs stuck out the most to the rest of you? I don't want to listen to the album in full until it's in my hands and ready to go in my cd player, but I'll make some exceptions like with "Behave" and listen to a few in full.
Personally I think that (with "Listen Up!") "Now That You're Here" should've been a single. It's an underrated gem. IMO I say that mainly because I loved the lyrics and sound of it. So...Which song on "Better" 1. Sounds the best vocally and/or has the best lyrics. Lyrics don't mean much nowadays, but there are still singers out there (Haley especially) who can write meaningful and even fun songs.
