Tonight, I thought that J-Blo and Randy both did their best to get Elise eliminated. It was almost sickening watching JBlo drool on and on ripping Elise while trying to sound like she was just being helpful.. BS! Phoney Randy followed suit. JBlo couldn't carry the freakin mic cord for any of these kids, and I oft wonder how she can actually pull off her stupid critiques week in and week out.. makes me want to throw the remote at her! I also think that last season she was actually jealous of Haley being on the same stage as her! LOL.. Bitter old guy whining here folks.. So sorry!!... I just struggle to keep watching this show (being a good sport with my wife lol) and will be glad once they ordain Joshua or Jessica and the show comes to an end for another season. The best part of Finale week at Idol is that Haley's album drops the day before the finals.. Woo Woo!

It's a business. They make make money on advertizing and managing contestants after the show ends. By having the fans vote they get to collect data on who will have the most amount of fans and therefore how will make them the most amount of money when the management period starts. If the fans like someone they stay on the show. The fans keep watching and when it ends they start making more money. Haley is making money for them and Scotty is making even more. It's a very simple business model. What's most import is who the fans like not who is the best singer.

Yeah...my BS meter went off the charts tonight when I heard JLO's critique of Elise's second performance, as her criticism of Elise was complete, total, and utter BS. Even Elise was having a hard time swallowing that garbage as she obviously knows BS when she sees it. To say that Elise holds back emotionally when she sings is ridiculous. Indeed, she is the most emoting contestant of all the contestants on the show. JLO not only lacks intelligence, she is also a piss poor liar and very shallow human being as well.

It is also very noticeable that Steven has become much more of a team player with JLO and Randy this season, as the judging this season is clearly very contrived. Obviously, they are watching the dress rehearsals and then subsequently coordinating their responses for the live show. Indeed, those grossly incompetent judges are ruining the show and it's a pity because it is the best of the talent shows.

TPTB need to clean house and get rid of all of them and especially Randy before they completely destroy the show altogether, since more and more people are seeing through their BS and becoming disgruntled with the show, as they are horrible actors.

I've always watched the show for years now not because of the judging or the judges, but instead because I enjoy seeing the new talent each year and watching it grow. However, this group of judges is so incompetent and disingenuous that it is hard to watch without becoming very angry and flustered.

My season 11 favorite is Elise but I've been disappointed with some of her performances. I was disappointed with her performance of "Let's get it on". I think she can do much better. I understood the judges critique and agree.
There is no right and wrong with music that's why there are so many genres. I often don't agree with the judges and that's normal. It effects each individual different. Also hearing and seeing music live is a different experience from watching it on TV or listening to a record so that has an effect on the judges.

So you agree with JLO that Elise's problem is she doesn't wear her heart on her sleeve and emote enough when she performs? Wow...apparently the Elise I'm watching and the Elise you are watching are two entirely different people altogether. Indeed, with respect to the Elise I'm watching, there is no other contestant that emotes more when she performs, and that Elise also knows that JLO's criticism was pure unadulterated BS. Which is also why she said she had been criticized for all sorts of things, but never for not emoting enough. Indeed, that criticism was an insult to Elise's intelligence. Anyway, we are going to have to agree to disagree on that one.
