New single (BIY) and pre-order of "What's That Sound" album on Friday, June 16th.

My .02. If the CD is called "What's That Sound", then during this politically charged time, "For What Its Worth" makes sense as the good choice for a single.

I am still puzzled though. She did not introduce any new songs on her EU tour. So is the CD going to be all covers? I would think she would have test drove a few new songs. But maybe, like several songs on the "Better" CD, she will just introduce them brand new to the public, like "Behave", "You Belong To Me" and several others.

But, in my opinion, what is needed to launch a single these days is major label support. The song needs promotion, CD singles sent to radio stations, marketing, and some live performances on some national platforms. If Haley is signed with Concord, that might be a possibility.

But it is more likely that maybe her songs off the CD are placed into movie or TV soundtracks or advertising, like CHFIL.

But, who knows in this day and age what will stick and what won't? Maybe "For What It's Worth" will hit big? Whatever happens, as always, I am just along for the Halien Ride....
