Well unfortunately Irvin's 'troubles' also include people who have made it their mission to spread that info about him to anyone they can. I think Irvin has been keeping a low profile for now, he no longer owns/runs the Jazz club in NOLA. I think he's been touring here and there but w/ minimal press.
On Twitter, I remember there was one account that would respond to tweets that promoted Irvin in any way, linking to articles about his situation.
It's bad timing, I feel bad for the guy, I don't think he's a bad person. I think every human has their good and bad side, sometimes the bad side wins and you have to pay a price.
Basin Street Records is still affiliated w/ Irvin and was a main distribution source for this album. They still promote it, but for obvious reasons, it won't get the exposure the album deserves
