Morgan crossed my mind too when I asked myself who else sings like this today. I feel like the lyrics tell a complete story better than some of Haley's other songs. I particularly like, "And at the end of the day, you still have something to say... can't get the blues off your mind."

Haley also has that Scott Bradlee influence. It could be Concord still wants to work with her, but it's cheaper from Haley's perspective to self-produce. "WTS?" seemed expensive on the production end (studio time, live musicians, engineers and producers), but it probably didn't sell that well. So she might have paid a fair amount out of her pocket.
