Toya’s World review:
Quote:Yours Truly embraces this solely because it could easily have been lifted from Amy Winehouse‘s ‘Back to Black’. I’m a huge fan of the retro vibe, as well as that 60s Bond-style instrumentation. The track comes complete with raspy vocals and romantic lyrics showcasing some sort of giddy but cutesy infatuation. With the production being so dated however, this particular song may not be one that everyone “gets”, but I like B.o.B’s contribution to the track.
The rap and hip-hop element gives the song some appeal to the younger audience. On its own, it would solely appeal to Adult Contemporary listeners. I hope it’s a hit, and it deserves to be. But realistically, I can’t really say.
